Shutdown Repair Services

PEI excels in efficient shutdown repair services, swiftly diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, minimizing downtime. Our expert field services team specializes in on-site repairs, overhauling, and troubleshooting of motors, generators, alternators, and transformers of any rating. We offer equipment removal, installation, and commissioning services, along with transformer oil filtration and maintenance labor contracts. With advanced vibration and modal analysis techniques, as well as oil analysis, PEI ensures optimal performance and reliability in the field.

Facilities

PEI boasts state-of-the-art testing facilities to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability for electrical equipment. Our comprehensive suite of tests includes A.C. High Voltage Test, Surge Comparison Test, D.C. Hi-pot Test, Megger Test for insulation resistance, Tan Delta & Capacitance Test, Motor/Generator Test Bed, and more. With specialized equipment like the BDV Oil Testing Machine for Transformers and Transformer Oil Filtration & De-hydration Machine, we guarantee precise testing and analysis to meet industry standards.

Mechanical
Services

PEI offers a comprehensive range of mechanical services to complement our electrical solutions. Our SCHENCK Dynamic Balancing Machine, capable of handling up to 20 tonnes, ensures precise balancing of rotating equipment for optimal performance and longevity. Additionally, our ESP and welding unit, hydraulic press machine, cold welding/arc spray equipment, overhead crane (20 tonnes), and lathe machine further enhance our capabilities in providing comprehensive mechanical solutions.

Motor, Generator, Alternator & Transformer Rewinding

PEI excels in the repair, refurbishment, and overhauling of motors, generators, alternators, and transformers up to 11 KV. Our comprehensive diagnostics and field services, including preventive maintenance, ensure the longevity and efficiency of electrical equipment. With in-house facilities for H.V./L.V. motor, generator, alternator, and transformer rewinding, PEI guarantees quality and reliability in every project.

Vacuum Pressure Impregnation

VP I is a crucial process offered by PEI to remove air, gas, and moisture from electrical equipment, enhancing insulation life and resistance to environmental factors. Through a meticulous process of saturation, cure, evacuation, and pressure, PEI ensures thorough impregnation of varnish resin, reducing the risk of failures due to cracking or corrosion.

Other Facilities

PEI provides a range of additional facilities to support our clients' needs, including coil expander & shaper, baking oven, infrastructure, handling & transportation facilities, engineering consultancy, workshop outsourcing, and overhead crane (35 tonnes).
